Omar Figueroa born in Paterson, New Jersey and raised in Fort Lauderdale, Florida to an immigrant Colombian father and Dominican mother.
Attended Springfield College in Springfield, Massachusetts and graduated with a Master’s of Education in Psychology Concentration in Athletic Counseling. At Springfield College Omar was a Resident Director and Athletic Counselor for a number of collegiate teams. Omar’s research, consultant, and psychological background allowed Omar to become a co-founder of HutHunt, an app helping potential tenants finding apartments directly to property management companies and find roommates in New York City.
- For undergraduate degree, Omar attended St. John’s University in Jamaica, Queens, New York and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. Omar has worked at Banana Republic, Apple, & IMG Academy.
- Omar is an instructor of Sport Psychology at Texas A&M University where Omar also conducts university programing, research & development, and performance coaching. Omar’s passion is found in helping teams, companies, and individuals achieve the best vision of themselves.
- At FMG, Omar is the Vice President of Operations overseeing the implementation of strategic short and long-term goals for FMG’s international matches and logistics.
- During leisure time, Omar volunteers at Boy’s and Girl’s Club & Big Brother Big Sister of College Station, Texas where Omar is the mentor too a high schooler with aspirations in the future of attending Texas A&M University.
