Omar Figueroa born in Paterson, New Jersey and raised in Fort Lauderdale, Florida to an immigrant Colombian father and Dominican mother.

Attended Springfield College in Springfield, Massachusetts and graduated with a Master’s of Education in Psychology Concentration in Athletic Counseling.  At Springfield College Omar was a Resident Director and Athletic Counselor for a number of collegiate teams.  Omar’s research, consultant, and psychological background allowed Omar to become a co-founder of HutHunt, an app helping potential tenants finding apartments directly to property management companies and find roommates in New York City.

  • For undergraduate degree, Omar attended St. John’s University in Jamaica, Queens, New York and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. Omar has worked at Banana Republic, Apple, & IMG Academy.
  • Omar is an instructor of Sport Psychology at Texas A&M University where Omar also conducts university programing, research & development, and performance coaching. Omar’s passion is found in helping teams, companies, and individuals achieve the best vision of themselves.
  • At FMG, Omar is the Chief Operating Officer overseeing the day to day operation and implementing strategic short and long-term goals. Omar also handles the corporate sponsorship department and logistics for FMG clients.
  • During leisure time, Omar volunteers at Boy’s and Girl’s Club & Big Brother Big Sister of College Station, Texas where Omar is the mentor to Jordan, a high schooler with aspirations in the future of attending Texas A&M University.

High School Soccer:

Omar played along side co-founder Cris Barbosa at National powerhouse, American Heritage High School (Plantation, Florida), where they helped capture the 3A State Championship titles in 2007 & 2008.

Collegiate Soccer:

Omar played 2 years of collegiate soccer at Valparaiso University in Valparaiso, Indiana where Omar was recruited by head coach Mike Avery.  After 2 years of collegiate soccer at Valparaiso University, Omar decided to transfer to St.  John’s University where Omar was a member of the collegiate soccer team as team manager for the 2011 & 2012 seasons.

Omar is fully proficient in English and Spanish.
